Le Mas Vermentino offers a serene escape into the heart of French countryside in Provence. Set amidst over 4-hectares, a lush tapestry of vineyards, olive groves, and truffle oaks, and breathtaking views of the Luberon hills await. This luxury French villa has six bedrooms and can accommodate up to 12 guests in complete privacy, whilst also providing use of the sister hotel, La Bastide de Marie.

This centuries-old mas has been meticulously renovated to preserve its authentic Provencal charm. The large living room, decorated in natural colours, invites you to unwind in its simple yet attractive setting. Stone walls, linen fabrics, terracotta pots, wickerwork, and rough wooden furniture create a harmonious connection with the surrounding nature. Adjacent to this space is a TV corner and a cosy lounge, found under a unique arched ceiling, provide the perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon with a book or a classic film. Nearby, a classic farmhouse style dining room is the ideal setting for memorable meals with family and friends. The attractive country chic, fully-equipped kitchen will have everything you may need to prepare delicious Provencal dishes using fresh figs and aromatic herbs picked from the villa's own garden.

The most impressive area of Le Mas Vermentino is undoubtedly its outdoor spaces, providing a world of leisure and tranquillity. The villa is built around a central gated courtyard, allowing the living spaces to sprawl outdoors effortlessly. Step outside and make the most of a complete outdoor kitchen and BBQ area, comfy lounge surrounding a large open fireplace and separate dining area. The semi-open courtyard provides a welcome and cool shelter from the sun, whilst the rustic country-décor the space is finished in, makes a relaxed homely atmosphere. The gentle sound of the fountain and the heady fragrance of lavender, roses, and jasmine enhance this serene experience.

Le Mas Vermentino caters to both relaxation and recreation. The heated outdoor swimming pool, surrounded by sun loungers, offers a refreshing escape. Alternatively, enjoy a leisurely game of pétanque on the dedicated court, shaded by century-old olive trees. There are many corners of the garden to sit and appreciate your surroundings, best complimented by a glass of chilled Pastis or Rosé Marie, taken from the Domaine de Marie's wine cellar, as you enjoy the essence of Provencal life.

The property can sleep a total of 10 adults and 2 children across six bedrooms, each completed in a timeless elegance and comfort. Each bedroom is a private retreat, complete with its own en-suite bathroom, ensuring ultimate privacy and relaxation for all guests. The decor combines rustic elements with sophisticated touches, creating an ambiance that is both cosy and refined. Ideal for a luxury family holiday in Provence. There are 4 double bedrooms in the main house as well as a twin room (can be made a triple on request), ideal for children. The last bedroom is accessed from the courtyard for added privacy, featuring a double bed, freestanding bathtub and shower.

As the villa belongs to the Domaine de Marie Estate, guests have access to the neighbouring La Bastide de Marie hotel, allowing them to make use of the incredible Pure Altitude Spa with two outdoor pools and massage treatment space. On site, there is also La Table de Bastide restaurant, which guests are welcome to visit during their stay as well as the Domaine's own vineyard and wine cellar.

For extra convenience, Le Mas Vermentino also features air-conditioning throughout the villa. For self-driving guests, private parking is also provided.

Prices are based on the exclusive use of the villa for up to 12 guests. The villa is offered with daily complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea, daily housekeeping service, complimentary wine tour of the Domaine de Marie and full use of the hotel facilities and Pure Altitude spa.

Location

Le Mas Vermentino is found in a quiet, peaceful location, nestled in the heart of a 4-hectare estate, with vineyards, olive groves and gardens surrounding it. The villa offers panoramic views across the Luberon hills.

The villa is just 3 km away from Ménerbes, a picturesque traditional Provençal village offering a small handful of restaurants, local bakery, regular markets and small grocery store. Nearby, just 4 minutes drive away, the historic Saint-Hillare Abbey is a popular place to visit, whilst in the wider Luberon valley you can also visit the beautiful villages of Roussillon and Gordes around 20 minutes away. Discover the Luberon National park, walking or by bike and explore neighbouring vineyards, Provençal bories, mills and ochre quarries as well as quaint countryside.

Avignon and Aix-En Provence, both larger towns, sit 50 km away. Your nearest airport is in Avignon around 30-minutes by road. Alternatively, Marseille-Provence airport is around a 1 hour drive.
